On Monday 15th July 2019, Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) a leader in professional health development started receiving students for the July 2019 in-take. Over 300 students will be joining the Institute to pursue courses under the Schools of Nursing and Midwifery, Clinical Officers and Medical Laboratory Technology. 

Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences offers quality and competitive professional courses in a friendly and safe environment.  Mr. Venantius Kirwana, Academic Registrar, welcomed the new students to the beautiful campus saying education is a continuous process which starts when we are born and continues till we die.

A formal orientation exercise that will be facilitated by a cross section of members of the MIHS management team has been set out for the students, running throughout the week from the day of reporting to Sunday 21st July, 2019. This will introduce students to the various aspects that will form part of their lifestyle for the period of stay at the institute.

On 31st August 2018, the Institute passed out 120 graduands during its first graduation ceremony that was presided over by the Minister In-Charge of General Duties, Office of the Prime Minister, Hon Mary Busingye Karooro Okurut.
